HELP ME PLEASE! Columns do wedding cakes have a separator plate over and under each cake?
A plastic plate rest in the center of the columns then get into another separator plate and balance all the way to insert columns in it? It is the bars that go through the cakes better and more robust? Where is the cheapest place to get these wedding cake is in levels?
Yes, you can use columns with a plaque on the top and lower support, but then you have to support the board that is at the top of the cake too or will crush and / or eventual collapse. You can also go with a method much easier to push on the pillars, then you only need a plate on top to keep the cake next up. Check your local craft stores, We Michaels, Ben Franklins or even Wal Mart has some supplies on the cake. Good luck! I made wedding cakes for 15 years, and its not always a piece of cake!
