Anyone know any good websites that help with planning a wedding?
Or do you know of any good books or wedding guides on or offline?
One of the best resources I used for my wedding was Bride’s Book of Wedding Etiquette (phttp://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&isbn=0399524711&itm=70) published by Bride’s Magazine. wedding planning for Dummies (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&isbn=0764556851&itm=1) is a good resource too. I also used a planning book that had lots of worksheets, but I can’t remember the name.
All these books can be found at your local Barnes and Noble or other book store. Go to the bookstore and look through the books and choose a book that has the information you need and a layout that is easy for you to read.
The knot.com can be a good source of information or ideas but you need to be careful. I’ve heard about problems in their discussion forums with people being increadibly rude or mean as well as people giving poor advice regarding etiquette. Your wedding day is about the two of you and is not an excuse for you to act like a total brat.
