How small weddings typically run?

I'm looking to marry next year. They have not popped the question yet. But I would like a ballpark idea on the amount of a smaller wedding usually is. Since most probable is that he who pays for everything and neither have much of a family so to speak. Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I have a small wedding (20ish people) in a month. Spending about 500 in his team and 500 in mine. We had to rent a room, but rented 25 chairs. The wedding / flowers / Honeymoon is about 7500. That's about it. We have no wedding party, and we are not haveing a reception. We did it for a small cake for the rehearsal dinner. The honeymoon was by far the more expensive. Will be around 4000.
