What are some inexpensive wedding reception food ideas for 200 people?

Im trying to help my friend who is having a wedding in a few months and she has a strict budget.
Yeah its kind of too late to not invite people. I just heard about her wedding woes today and she cant uninvite people. So how about pasta, bread, salad, and dessert? That would be good right?

A buffet of finger foods. Use the cake as dessert and just line up plates of sandwiches, seafood, treats, dip etc.
