What are some ideas for good weddings favors?

I want something people will keep…

I gave seedlings in a tube. Then I wrapped the tube in parchment that I had a quote (Shakespear) written on it with our names and wedding date. The tubes are very inexpensive and the seedlings you can most likely get free or at little cost (check your local preservation offices). Everyone loved them – And hopefully planted them.

Bottle openers, shot glasses and things of that nature are great ideas too and people keep those because they are useful.
